For patients who carry health insurance please know that services are charged to the patient and not the insurance company. Patients are expected to take care of their fees as services are rendered.

Any patient wishing to have insurance cover all or a portion of their treatment should contact their insurance provider to learn the extent of coverage their policies offer with respect to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Homeopathic Medicine.

As acupuncture gains acceptance, more insurance companies have started including benefits to their customers. We are able to work with a wide variety of insurance providers by providing patients with an Insurance receipt upon request. This is an receipt for your visit that uses standardized insurance codes for the treatments performed. This process requires the patient to pay the full cost of the treatment out-of-pocket at the time of the visit. The receipt can then be submitted to your insurance carrier for full or partial reimbursement depending on your policy. Patients wishing to make use of this service should check with their insurance carriers to be sure that receipts are accepted. The eventual reimbursement will be determined by your insurance carrier.

However, Acupuncture is an approved therapy for all Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Please bring with you your debit/credit card that was given to you when you set up your account.
